Trading Post - Week 4

Team A:
Traded away WR Donte Moncrief

Team B:
Traded away WR Marvin Jones
Traded away RB Isaiah Crowell

Braxton's Take:
This trade came through The Challenge. Thanks to Game Over for sending it over. To give a little background information on this trade, Team A's running backs are struggling, but he has three wide receivers currently ranked in the top 16 at the position. By giving up Moncrief, Team A hopes to gain a viable running back to start each week at RB1, RB2, FLEX1, or the FLEX2 roster slot.

Over the first three weeks, Crowell has been riding a fantasy rollercoaster. In games when the Browns are winning, the Crow continues to get touches on the ball. Unfortunately for the Browns, it's not very often they find themselves winning in a game. Crowell has 37 rushing attempts for 128 yards and 1 touchdown. He has three very favorable matchups over the next few weeks. Marvin Jones started off the season slow with only 19 yards in the first game, but has 145 yards and 2 touchdowns over the next two games. QB Andy Dalton is on fire in Cincinnati. He has been added in 30% of NFL.com leagues this week and is currently ranked #3 among QBs in fantasy scoring with 8 touchdowns and 1 interception (behind Brady and Rodgers). It looks like Dalton is off to a hot start this season and should easily be able to support two receivers in AJ Green and Marvin Jones. There is no sophomore slump for WR Donte Moncrief who has already passed 50% of his fantasy points from his rookie season in 2014. Even with QB Andrew Luck barely ranked in the top 20 at fantasy QBs this year, Moncrief is one of only four WRs who have managed to score a touchdown in every game this year (James Jones, Brandon Marshall, and Travis Benjamin are the others). As Luck gets back into the groove and improves offensively, Moncrief's value will continue to climb. However, the touchdown production is unsustainable as TY Hilton has yet to catch a receiving touchdown this season. Overall, this trade is about even with more upside for Team A if he has roster slots available to start Marvin Jones and Isaiah Crowell.

Side note: RB Karlos Williams in Buffalo is the only running back to have scored a touchdown in every game this season. Remember, if you have a trade in your league and want to see what we think about it, send us a tweet @GridironGas or submit your trade to The Podcast and we'll discuss it on the show.
