2015 Detroit Lions Offseason Update

Fantasy Fuel: Last season, the Detroit Lions finished 11-5 by having one of the top defenses in the league. The Lions finished first in defensive rushing yards per game allowed, second in total yards per game allowed, and third in points per game allowed. WR Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate combine for one of the top receiving duos in the league. 'Megatron' and 'Showtime' both finished in the top 15 for fantasy wide receivers in 2014. Johnson should see a bump in yards while Tate drops down to around 1,000 receiving yards. Playmaker DT Ndamukong Suh left for a big paycheck in Miami to become the highest paid non-quarterback in the NFL. Suh was replaced by 5x Pro Bowler Haloti Ngata. RB Reggie Bush will find sunshine and his next work load at Levi's Stadium in the San Francisco Bay Area. Bush's move allows for RB Joique Bell or second round draft selection RB Ameer Abdullah to take over. Training camp starts on Monday, August 3rd.  As we watch the camp battle between Bell and Abdullah, we hope the Lions find a clear starter before the season begins.
